Who we are
KONA is a Bitcoin-native accelerator based in Turin, Italy. You can reach us at hello@kona.build.
What data we collect
When you submit a form on this site (founder application, startup introduction, investor access, or newsletter subscription) we collect the information you provide: name, email, company details, and any other fields in the form. We also log your IP address, browser type, and the page you submitted from for security and anti-spam purposes.
Why we collect it
We use your data exclusively to review your submission, reach out if there is a fit, and to send you occasional KONA communications if you subscribed to updates. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it for automated decision-making.
Where data is stored
Form submissions are stored in Airtable (for applications) and Buttondown (for newsletter subscriptions), both operated by US-based providers under standard contractual clauses. Data is retained for as long as the relationship is active or until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data at any time. You can withdraw consent for newsletter communications by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@kona.build.
Cookies
This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is required. If you access the founderOS portal in the future, a strictly necessary session cookie will be set for authentication purposes only.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.
